About New St Bakery
Looking for a bakery in Dorchester town centre? New St Bakery is at 1 New Street, Dorchester, DT1 1DR. It is a classic British high-street baker: think sausage rolls, pasties, iced buns and fresh bloomers.
New St Bakery has not published regular opening hours in the sources we use, so it is worth calling ahead or checking social media before a special trip. Food hygiene officers from Dorset rated it 5 – Very good when they inspected on 23 April 2025.
The nearest public transport is Dorchester West station, about 7 minutes away on foot (0.3 mi). It is not the only option nearby: there are 4 more bakeries within a kilometre, so a bakery crawl is easily done.
